“عروس وسلات”: عندما يعرّي الجسد التضادّ المزدوج عفيفة/عاهرة، فحل/مخنّث

بخطوات وحركات غير “محتشمة” دفع رشدي بلقاسمي جسده نحو منطقة حمراء. أصغى إلى جسده الرمزيّ أوّلا ثمّ إلى جسد الآخر لتتماهى رقصته مع التعبيرة الجنسيّة في كامل وضوحها وفرادتها. “عروس وسلات”، التي قدّمها رشدي إلى الجمهور ضمن فعاليّات الدورة السادسة لمهرجان “دريم سيتي” وتحديدا في حمّام الطمّارين بباب جديد، ليست فقط عملا فنيّا تكتمل فيه جميع المحدّدات الاستطيقية بل هو أيضا نسق فكريّ وتاريخيّ يُرينا كيف تحوّل الجسد إلى موضوع أوّل للسلطة الدينيّة والسياسيّة، للموبقات والمحرّمات. “عروس وسلات”، فتح الأعين المُغمضة عنوة وطواعية على الاتّجاه الرمزيّ لجسد تحكمه ضوابط أخلاقيّة وممارسات شعبيّة تحصره في خانة “المدنّس”.

الاحتجاج الشبابي وتمثال بورقيبة: محاولة رمزية لقتل الأب

إثر تتبعهن بتهمة الاعتداء على المصلحة العامة، أفرج القضاء يوم الجمعة الفارط عن ثلاث ناشطات من التجمع النسوي “مسيرة الـ17” بعد مُثولهن للمرة الثانية أمام محكمة الناحية “تونس 3”. تعود الأحداث إلى 22 جويلية 2017 عندما كتبن على رافعة تمثال الحبيب بورقيبة وسط العاصمة شعارات تُمجد نضالهن الاجتماعي. ومنذ نَصبِه في 23 ماي 2016 في قلب العاصمة أصبح تمثال “المجاهد الأكبر” هدفا لكتابة الشعارات والرسوم من قبل شباب الحركات الاحتجاجية. هذه الظاهرة تفصح عن معركة رمزية بصدد الاعتمال. من خلال هذا الروبورتاج تسعى نواة إلى الكشف عن خلفياتها ودوافعها.

Jeunesse révoltée & statue de Bourguiba : tentatives symboliques de « tuer le père » ? [Vidéo]

Poursuivies pour dégradation d’un bien public, trois membres du collectif militant, « la marche des 17 », ont été relaxés, vendredi dernier, après une deuxième comparution au tribunal cantonal de Tunis III. Les faits remontent au 22 juillet quand elles ont tagué sur le piédestal de la statue d’Habib Bourguiba des slogans en hommage à la lutte sociale qu’elles mènent. Depuis qu’elle a été réinstallée, le 23 mai 2016 dans l’artère principale de Tunis, la statue du « combattant suprême » a été taguée, plusieurs fois, par de jeunes mouvements contestataires. Une bataille symbolique est engagée. Nawaat s’est intéressé à recenser ses motivations et à comprendre ses dessous.

سفيان طوبال: قصة صعود يُلاحقها شبح الفساد

قبل ست سنوات من الآن لم يدر بخلد العضو السابق في المكتب الوطني للشبيبة الدستورية أن الانتفاضة، التي مثلت بالنسبة إليه لحظة تاريخية قاسية، ستَجود عليه بانتكاساتها وتعثراتها بما لم تجد به الأيام الخوالي. يبدو المشهد عبثيا للوهلة الأولى ولكن للتاريخ أسبابه وتقلباته، فقد أفلح الفتى الحزبي المنضبط في التحول من ناشط قاعدي في صفوف حزب نداء تونس بقفصة سنة 2012 إلى أحد أبرز الفاعلين فيه، مُخلّفا وراءه آثار الولاء المفرط للعائلة الحاكمة وتاركا بَصمات الضلوع في الفساد واستغلال النفوذ.

La Tunisie en dépression démocratique

Quel est le point commun entre Afraa Benazza et Hicham Alaoui ? A priori, on pourrait penser qu’il n’y en a pas. La première, qui n’a pas vingt ans, est une inflexible militante kefoise dont l’éclosion, comme celle de beaucoup d’autres insoumis, constitue le principal acquis de notre révolution. Le second est un opposant marocain réformateur, membre de la caste régnante au Maroc et candidat au trône. Tous deux pourtant, aussi différents soient-ils, ont été victimes de l’arbitraire de l’Etat tunisien.

Interview avec le prince marocain Moulay Hicham suite à son expulsion de Tunisie

Chercheur à l’Université de Harvard, Hicham Alaoui, troisième dans l’ordre de succession au trône marocain, a été expulsé, vendredi 8 septembre, quelques heures après son arrivée à Tunis. Résident à Boston aux Etats-Unis, le surnommé « prince rouge » a fait le déplacement pour intervenir, dimanche, dans un symposium académique organisé par l’Université de Stanford. Malgré nos nombreuses requêtes, les autorités tunisiennes se sont abstenues de nous divulguer les motifs de leur décision. Pour sa part, Moulay Hicham, connu pour ses positions critiques à l’égard de l’autoritarisme dans le monde arabe notamment au Maroc, a répondu aux questions de Nawaat. Interview.

Municipal elections: youth abstain, women to participate in greater numbers

Voter registration for municipal elections closed on 10 August 2017, and Tunisia’s Independent Elections Authority, the ISIE, announced its decision not to extend the process, in spite of relatively low turnout. On August 11, the ISIE released the results of the two-month registration period: 535,784 new voters and 92,201 updated registrations for a total of 5,373,845 voters who will participate in local elections on December 17.

The Medina of Tunis: back to business for the old city’s craftsmen and vendors?

Towards the beginning of the summer months, Tunisia’s Ministry of Tourism and sector operators announced their expectations for an improved tourist season. At the start of June, the National Tourism Office (ONTT) calculated the number of tourist arrivals for January through May 2017 to be nearly double (46.2%) that of the same period last year. Media reports on the ONTT’s numbers displayed a range of enthusiasm « It’s going much better! »—to reserved optimism—« Tourism is going (a little bit) better ». On the ground, Tunisia’s seaside hotels are mostly full, its beaches packed with locals and visitors from near and far. Air-conditioned restaurants and cafés are bustling. The shaded, winding passageways of Tunis’ Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, are also teeming with people. Does this mean that business is in full swing for the souk’s craftsmen and vendors?

FIFAK 2017 : « 1999 » de Haithem Sakouhi, une autofiction déjantée

Les films tunisiens de la 32ème édition du Festival International du Film Amateur de Kelibia (FIFAK) semblent peu mouillés. L’un des rares qui sortent du lot est 1999 de Haithem Sakouhi, projeté dans la soirée du 13 août 2017. Plongeant son spectateur dans un bain d’eau tout sauf bénite, ce film cherche à se faire du street art un vrai allié, le temps de nous faire oublier pour une fois qu’on est assis sur un siège en béton, impitoyable aux fesses et cruel au dos.

الإنتخابات البلدية: نتائج التسجيل تكشف عزوف الشباب وتطور المشاركة النسائية

انتهت يوم الخميس 10 أوت 2017 عملية التسجيل للانتخابات البلدية وفق الروزنامة التي أعلنت عنها الهيئة العليا المستقلّة للانتخابات دون الإعلان عن تمديد لآجال التسجيل. كانت الحصيلة 535.784 تسجيل جديد و92.201 تحيين ضمن سجلّ انتخابي خاصّ بالبلديات يشمل 5 ملايين و 373.845 ناخب حسب احصائيات أعلنت عنها الهيئة العليا المستقلّة للانتخابات يوم 11 أوت 2017.

Hip hop : Rencontre avec Underground Family, collectif de jeunes agitateurs culturels

Underground Family a vu le jour en avril 2015. Ce collectif d’une quarantaine de jeunes lycéens entre 15 et 19 ans a pour objectif de promouvoir la culture hip hop en Tunisie. Ils cherchent à atteindre leurs objectifs en organisant des événements tels que Bil Underground, Micbox et Underga3da dont la deuxième édition se tiendra le 24 août 2017 avec la participation des rappeurs Karkadan, A.L.A & Castro ainsi que le danseur Zulu Rema, Dj Gamra et autres. Nawaat est parti à la rencontre de Hazem Hamrouni et Nour Thlijani, deux jeunes agitateurs culturels d’Underground Family. Interview.

Tourism: Tunisia’s beaches are full, but what about the Medina?

While media outlets and Tunisia’s Ministry of Tourism are understandably eager to paint a convincing portrait of the country’s tourism come-back, not everyone sees growth from the same perspective. On the ground, Tunisia’s seaside hotels are mostly full, its beaches packed with locals and visitors from near and far. The shaded, winding passageways of Tunis’ Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, are also teeming with people. Does this mean that business is in full swing for the souk’s craftsmen and vendors? Nawaat took a walk up and down the Medina’s main tourist circuit to find out.

روبورتاج في المدينة العتيقة بتونس: الانتعاشة السياحية بين الأرقام والتأثير في الواقع

تذهب التصريحات الرسمية إلى أن القطاع السياحي يشهد انتعاشة لسنة 2017، إذ أشارت وزيرة السياحة أول شهر أفريل الفارط إلى أن عدد السياح الوافدين على البلاد تطور بنسبة 33,5 بالمائة مقارنة بسنة 2016. من جهته أشار تقرير المنظمة العالمية للسياحة إلى أن تونس تعد من بين الوجهات السياحية العالمية القابلة للتطور في المستقبل. الإقرار الرسمي بانتعاشة السياحة التونسية ينطلق من مقاربة كمية لعدد السياح الوافدين على البلاد. ولكن إلى أي مدى يساهم الارتفاع العددي في تحسين حياة الفاعلين في القطاع السياحي؟ في سياق البحث عن إجابات لهذا التساؤل، ذهب موقع نواة إلى المدينة العتيقة بتونس، التي تعد وجهة كلاسيكية للسياحة، هناك يتحدث التجار عن تصوراتهم للواقع السياحي لسنة 2017 من خلال تجاربهم الخاصة.

“Lost in Tunis”: exploring the city’s unseen faces

A pair of worn sneakers dangles from an electric wire stretching between telephone poles, of little consequence to the pigeons perched close by and pedestrians on the street below. How many of them look up and wonder about the shoe fixture slung overhead? This is just the sort of mundane urban detail that intrigues Mourad Ben Cheikh Ahmed, creator of the blog « Lost in Tunis ». In his most recent post, Mourad shared a series of photos accompanied by a brief explanation: « shoe tossing, or shoefiti (shoes + graffiti) is undeniably a form of street art ».

طوارئ ”مانيش مسامح“ تعطل مشروع قانون المصالحة

نظّمت حملة “ما نيش مسامح” أمس الخميس مظاهرة أمام مجلس نواب الشعب ضد مشروع قانون المصالحة الاقتصادية والمالية بنسخته الجديدة. ولم تفلح قوات الأمن –التي دخلت في اشتباكات مع المتظاهرين- من إثنائهم عن مواصلة التظاهر ليلا وسط الساحة المقابلة لمبنى البرلمان. وتواصل تجمهر العديد من النشطاء حتى صبيحة اليوم الجمعة، إلى حدود إعلان كتابة مجلس النواب تأجيل النظر في مشروع القانون بعد العطلة البرلمانية. ويُذكر أنه شارك في هذا التحرك الاحتجاجي عدد من النواب المعارضين لمشروع القانون. يأتي التأجيل الجديد لمبادرة رئاسة الجمهورية في ظل الضغوطات المتواصلة التي تمارسها حملة “مانيش مسامح” وأطياف واسعة من المجتمع المدني والسياسي بالبلاد منذ إيداع المشروع بمجلس النواب صيف 2015.

« Artistes contre la normalisation » : mobilisation antisioniste à l’espace Mass’Art [Vidéo]

En réaction à la programmation de l’humoriste Michel Boujenah au festival de Carthage, la campagne tunisienne pour le boycott et l’opposition à la normalisation avec l’entité sioniste a organisé, lundi 17 juillet, un événement baptisé « Artistes contre la normalisation ». Une manifestation qui s’est tenue à l’espace Mass’Art afin de réitérer l’engagement des artistes et autres acteurs culturels en faveur de la cause palestinienne et se concerter au sujet de la création d’une coalition d’artistes contre la normalisation avec Israël.

Erkiz Hip Hop : Tunisian and French rappers explore the Mezoued groove

Rappers Demi Portion, Ichon and the band 3ème Œil came from France to celebrate the World Music Day in Tunis and have shared the stage with their Tunisian counterparts, Vipa, Massi and Belhassen of the band Empire. Organized by the Tunisian collective Debo and the French Institute of Tunisia (IFT), the concert Erkiz Hip Hop, presented at the Bourguiba Avenue on June 21st, intends to reconcile the rap of both shores of the Mediterranean and gather a curious public at the crossroads of the hip-hop culture and mezoued. The first of its kind in Tunisia.

Erkiz Hip Hop : Rappeurs tunisiens et français explorent le groove du mezoued

Venus de France pour célébrer la Fête de la Musique à Tunis, les rappeurs Demi Portion, Ichon et le groupe 3ème Œil ont partagé la scène avec leurs homologues tunisiens, Vipa, Massi et Belhassen du groupe Empire. Organisé par le collectif tunisien Debo et l’Institut Français de Tunisie (IFT), le concert Erkiz Hip Hop, présenté à l’Avenue Bourguiba le 21 juin, entend rapprocher le rap des deux rives de la Méditerranée et rassembler un public de curieux à la croisée de la culture hip hop et du mezoued. Une première en Tunisie.

Festival de la Médina : Archaïsme, privilèges financiers et opacité ministérielle

La poussiéreuse politique culturelle tunisienne peine à renouveler le paysage musical. Des déséquilibres budgétaires, favorisant systématiquement la centralisation et le classicisme, mettent en lumière un verrouillage du secteur. الشرطة البيئية: صلاحيّاتها، إشكالياتها وسياق إحداثها

أعلنت وزارة الشؤون المحليّة والبيئة أمس الثلاثاء عن انطلاق جهاز الشرطة البيئية بـ74 بلدية بين تونس الكبرى ومراكز الولايات والبلديات ذات الصبغة السياحية، ستشرع في “عمليّات بيضاء” لمدّة شهر قبل شروعها في رفع المخالفات والجنح المتعلّقة بتراتيب حفظ الصحّة والنظافة العامّة. الجهاز الذي تمّ إطلاقه وسط استحسان المواطنين ومطالبتهم للوقوف في وجه ظاهرة التلوّث وانتشار الفضلات أثار تحفّظات في صفوف وحدات الأمن الوطني والشرطة البلدية.هذا الجهاز الذي قدّر تمويله بـ8،3 مليون دينار يندرج ضمن برنامج الشؤون المحليّة والذي حظي بنصيب وافر من قروض المانحين الدوليين لدعم الحوكمة المحلية والتنمية الحضرية.

« In the era of 230 » : Artists denounce the State’s homophobia

The collective exhibition « Au temps du 230 » [In the era of 230] took place between May 17-21 in the Medina of Tunis. Organized by the feminist association Chouf which advocates for the rights of sexual minorities, the exhibition is the first of its kind in Tunisia. « Au temps du 230 » featured the work of 12 artists—painters, photographers and caricaturists—who denounce Law 230 of the penal code which criminalizes homosexuality. On the occasion of UN’s 2016 Periodic Review, Tunisia admitted the unconstitutionality of Law 230 but has made no move to abrogate it.
