En ce mois d’avril, après la fin de l’excellente saison de production de l’huile d’olive, de nombreuses cérémonies internationales à travers le monde ont lieu afin de récompenser les producteurs d’huiles d’olives de qualité. Le 16 avril, la troisième cérémonie annuelle de la meilleure huile d’olive tunisienne conditionnée a eu lieu à l’hôtel Ramada Plaza à Gammarth. Quelques deux cent chefs d’entreprises, diplomates étrangers, ministres et journalistes étaient présents pour honorer les producteurs de l’huile d’olive Al-Jazira, Ulysse Agro Industries et El Baraka, lauréats de la compétition.

Peak season of olive oil production having recently come to an end, the month of April has seen a host of competitions in cities across the globe to discern this year’s highest quality olive oils and acknowledge outstanding producers. On 16 April, the third annual Awards Ceremony for The Best Packaged Tunisian Olive Oil took place at the Hotel Ramada Plaza in Gammarth. Some two hundred business-owners, foreign diplomats, ministers, and press were present to honor the winning producers—Al Jazira, Ulysse Agro Industries, and El Baraka respectively—of twenty-two competing companies.
