Tunisia: Weekly Political Review. Cabinet Reshuffle Fails to Materialise

The week promised to shake up considerably the political landscape in Tunisia. Contrary to the expectations of most observers, the long awaited cabinet reshuffle announcement was delayed due to the lack of consensus among the leading troika as announced Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali on Saturday. The new-born troika of the opposition (Nidaa Tounes, Republican Party al Massar) went almost unnoticed since the Popular Front (a unified political alliance of left-wing parties) seems to be still reluctant to join the new political and electoral front.

الغنوشي و بن جعفر و مسلسل التحوير الوزاري

التقى اليوم السيد مصطفى بن جعفر رئيس المجلس الوطني التاسيسي في مكتبه بمقر المجلس بالشيخ راشد الغنوشي رئيس حركة النهضة . و قد تباحث الطرفان في موضوع التحوير الوزاري المرتقب قصد وضع اللمسات الاخيرة . و لئن رفض الغنوشي الاجابة على الاسئلة المطروحة من طرف الصحفيين بعد التنسيق مع الملحق الصحفي لرئاسة المجلس على ان يتم الاكتفاء بتصريح وحيد دون اسئلة للصحفيين الموجودين فان عامر العريض من جهته قبل الاجابة على اسئلتنا الا ان اجاباته كانت مقتضبة و لا تغني و لا تسمن من جوع .

Les conditions d’Ettakatol pour rester dans la Troïka

Le parti Ettakatol vient d’entamer depuis 18h30 une réunion d’urgence de son bureau politique. Il a menacé ce matin, par le biais de son porte parole Mohamed Bennour, de se retirer de la coalition au pouvoir. Selon Samy Razgallah, membre du BP, certaines conditions doivent être prises en compte par leur partenaire Ennahdha, sinon, son parti se retirera de la Troïka.

استقبلنا اليوم السيد خليل الزاوية وزير الشؤون الاجتماعية في مكتبه بمقر الوزارة …و تناولنا بالنظر عديد المواضيع الحارقة سواء تلك التي تخص الاحتجاجات الاجتماعية التي تتصاعد وتيرتها من حين الى اخر في كامل جهات الجمهورية او ايضا تلك التي تتعلق بالسياسة المنتهجة من طرف الحكومة عموما و من طرف وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية على وجه الخصوص قصد ايجاد الحلول للخروج من الوضعية الاجتماعية الحرجة التي تمر بها البلاد.

حوصلة لآداء وزارة الداخلية في حكومة الترويكا + جدول زمني

بعد موعد 23 أكتوبر 2012 مرّت أكثر من السنة عن تولّي الترويكا مقاليد الحكم في تونس، و شهدت البلاد أحداثا سياسية و أمنيّة و إقتصادية و إجتماعية عديدة، كما حصلت تطوّرات على مختلف المستويات و في شتّى الإدارات و المؤسسات، من هذا المنطلق وجب تقييم آداء الحكومة و تحديد ما لها و ما عليها.

Almost a Revolution: The “Guardians” of the Revolution Failed the People

To the outside world Tunisia, the small country that inspired the Arab world to revolt, is moving towards a substantive democracy. Protestors, from all walks of life, took to the streets of Tunisia and shouted with one voice” the people demand the fall of the regime”. Although the demands were crystal clear “jobs, freedom and dignity”, the current troika government – a coalition government formed by Ennahda after October 2011 elections- has been virtually paralyzed to concretize those demands.
